Mongoose Vs Cobra And Lion Vs Tiger
Focus
Please answer this question. If Cobra Strikes Mongoose, Will Mongoose die? Most of us answer this question as No, Mongoose will not die. But actually Mongoose will die.
Mongoose does not have biologically in-built anti venom mechanism by instinct. But we know that Mongoose always kills the Cobra because of it’s agile nature and relentless focus.
One more similar example is Lion versus Tiger in hunting efficiency. Lion is more efficient than Tiger as far as the hunting is concerned, because of Lion’s Focus. Lion makes some specific kind of utterance as a warning to it’s prey and it hunts only that particular animal with unwavering Focus. In this hunting process if any other animal which the Lion is not currently chasing, comes across it’s way, Lion does not attack that unintended prey. It always hunts only the intended prey. That is why there are no flukes in Lion’s Hunting.
But the Tiger’s hunting style is different. The Tiger first aims one animal to attack, meanwhile if any other animal is at its reach, the tiger tries to attack that animal, eventually catches neither.
As per the Analysis Lion’s success rate is 9 out of 10. Where as Tiger is Successful only 6 to 7 times out of 10 attempts.
Here the message is, What ever task or even profession we choose, Our focus should be at optimal level. Then only we will be exceptionally Successful. Focus is compared to Laser. What ever comes across the way of the Laser beam, it simply cuts through it. Similarly our focus should be that exceptional. In this Advancements Era we need to work more on Focus because no other previous generation has ever faced such a wide range of distractions. We have so many scientific innovations in the form of Gadgets like smart phones, tabs, PCs and internet. It does not take any effort to get distracted, it is so damn easy. So we have more work in the pipeline. So we should be optimally focused and must develop an urge to be Monomaniacally obsessed towards our passion and mission.
